Frequently Asked Questions

You can obtain a marriage license from any county in the state of Florida. Marriage licenses are only valid for a 60-day period from the effective date. There is a mandatory waiting period of 3 days for Florida residents, but this does not apply to non-Florida residents. You must bring your license to your ceremony. Our officiant will sign your license once the ceremony is complete and return it to the county clerk’s office from where it was obtained.

We do not organize formal wedding rehearsals prior to your ceremony.

A: Once you book with Ocean of Love Florida Beach Weddings, our wedding planner Beata, will communicate directly with you to begin the arrangements for your special day. During that call Beata will get to know you and will follow up by sending you a questionnaire that will cover all facets of the event – date, time, location, decorations, layout, number of guests, photography requirements, music, forms of vows and a whole lot more! To give us time to plan we typically like to have all this information with us at least 60 days before the wedding but for smaller, less formal events we can sometimes speed this up.

Our standard package includes artificial florals on our arches or canopies and a fresh bouquet for the blushing bride. Fresh flowers can be arranged at an additional charge.

Because we use public beaches and parks, we are unable to provide a rain back up location and we encourage clients to establish one if possible. We will be monitoring the weather in the days leading up to the wedding and be ready to react to circumstances by relocating to a backup location or  moving the ceremony time/day.

If you chose to have us do your wedding photography we aim to have your photos delivered within two weeks of your wedding day. They will not be edited and will be delivered on a thumb drive. Should you wish, you may pick one or several of your favorites and our photographer will edit them for an additional fee.

Of course! But please communicate with our wedding planner so we understand your plans. Set up, take down, and care of your own decorations will be your responsibility.

Yes, there will be a formal contract for our services. This will be sent to you as soon as you let us know that you’d like us to conduct your wedding. You’ll need to sign and send that back with your downpayment before we start with our arrangements.Ocean of Love Florida Beach Weddings prides ourselves on providing budget-friendly beach weddings but unfortunately we can’t do it for free! Once we have hammered out the details we can work out the cost of your day. We’ll send you our final price together with our contract. We will require a $500 non-refundable deposit at that time. The balance of costs will be due seven days prior to the wedding day. We can accept paypal, check, cash, or credit card.
